Here at Ponte Vedra Wellness Center, we want you to know exactly what to expect when you walk through our doors. Once your appointment is booked, you will be greeted by our friendly receptionist, who will be awaiting your arrival. Because we want to understand you, your pain, and your history completely, you will be asked to complete some paperwork. From there, our chiropractors will guide you through every step of your visit. Your Health History
Your paperwork will ask about your family history, because some issues in the body can be hereditary (but that does not mean we cannot help). It will also ask about your health habits and medical history. We want to cover all bases so we can help you as much as possible. To save time, you can complete your new patient forms at home before your appointment.
X-Rays When Needed
Depending on your injury, we may or may not require X-rays. Most of the time, we perform X-rays to get a clear look at your spine. This typically only needs to be done if you are a new patient or if there is a change in your condition.
Your Examination
During your examination, you will be asked to move around and possibly lie down so we can get a better feel for what is going on. Afterward, you will meet with our compassionate and knowledgeable chiropractor. Be sure to share everything about the pain you are experiencing and any other symptoms you may have.
Your Personalized Care Plan
Your chiropractor will then discuss your condition and your options. Together, you will decide what you feel comfortable with and create a game plan to help you.
